The project is an interactive application for presenting Zissis Kotionis’ work ‘Towards an open-air inhabitation of Mt. Hymettus’ in the 3rd Biennale of Young Greek Architects. It investigates the relation between the physical relation of the topography of the mountain and its audiovisual representation, as it is experienced by the resident of the city.
The CD-ROM aims to use audio visually the approach of the text, meaning the different texts/stories. A rhyming text of 70 pages is deposited on the map of the mountain and is visualized through different videos. Thereby, 70 selected different stories/texts are folded in a fragmentary narration maintaining their autonomy and, therefore, using the non linear narration of the CD-ROM, but, also, their coherence as elements of a solid urban version.
